A leg sheath is a garment that fits tightly round the legs, pinning them together. It may be open at the bottom or closed to cover the feet. It is often made rigid, for example by the use of metal struts, so that the wearer is unable to bend his or her legs at the knee.
It may be combined with a straitjacket to make a punishment suit.
