A drum majorette or majorette is a female who marches, twirling a baton. There may be only one majorette leading a marching brass band, or there may be a group of majorettes parading together.
Drum majorettes typically wear sexy quasi-military uniforms that include hats, jackets ornamented with gold braid, miniskirts and boots.
