This page lists some common appellations, including honorifics, pertinent to BDSM and fetish. It is not for monikers or screen names generally, unless those names have some specific further meaning.


Ancilla
Latin for female servant (most especially, an indentured house-servant).
Daddy
Used used in age roleplay and within Daddy/lil girl relationships.
Dorei
Japanese for "slave" (奴隷). May be pronounced "Door-ray" or "Door-ree".
Kajira
Generic name for a female slave. Popularised by the Gor stories.
Lord
A dominant title, usually used with a false name. Much more commonly desired by Americans than Britons.
Luned
A female servant of the Lady of the Fountain in Welsh mythology.
Majesty
Hard to use seriously but fun for games and roleplay.
Master
A common title for a male dominant, especially an owner, used by their submissive.
Mister name (e.g. "Mister Smith")
Especially common in DD and HOH relationships, the submissive would use only the formal name of her man.
Mistress
A common title for a female dominant, especially an owner, used by their submissive.
Myrmidon
A faithful follower who carries out orders without question.
Overlord
Name sometimes used from feudal times, especially by masters.
name San (e.g. "David San")
A manner of respectful address, originating from Japanese.
Sir
The most Common title used by a sub towards her dom.
