A belt is a flexible band, typically made of leather or heavy cloth, and often worn around the waist to supports trousers or other articles of clothing, and it serves for style and decoration.
Belts also have specific uses:
- as an implement for belting, a form of flogging; often as a pervertible
- Bondage belt
- Chastity belt
