A weblog, or blog, is a frequently updated website consisting of dated entries, normally presented in reverse chronological order by default. Typically, weblogs are published by individuals and their style is personal and informal. The information can be written by the site owner, gleaned from other Web sites or other sources, or contributed by users. Generally, weblogs are devoted to one or several subjects or themes but since anybody with an Internet connection can publish their own weblog, there is great variety in the quality, content, and ambition of weblogs and a weblog may have only very few readers or may attract thousands of daily readers.
