An executioner hood is a loose fitting leather hood covering the head and most of the face; the design is based on the hoods imagined by the general public to have been worn by medieval executioners to protect their identity when executing prisoners on the scaffold. Other variants, such as pointy, flowing hoods covering the entire head down to the shoulder, exist as well, but like the design mentioned before, they are most not based on historical hoods.
Executioner hoods are typically worn by dominants to give them a sense of menace in a scene.
