Facial bondage

Facial bondage is any form of bondage affecting the face, rather than the limbs or other parts of the body. It can be divided into four types:
- Whole head: see Hood and Head harness.
- Eyes: see Blindfold.
- Ears: see Earplug.
- Mouth: see Gag and Muzzle.
The term is used by Jay Wiseman in his Erotic Bondage Handbook.
Facial bondage does not restrict mobility, but it does in general restrict sight, hearing or speech, which is important in producing a sense of helplessness in the victim.
