Gift-of-domination.png(800 × 442 pixels, file size: 9 KB, MIME type: image/png)

A graphic symbolizing the idea that if a person has submissive tendencies, then a consistent, loving, sometimes gentle yet still firm domination could be beneficial in allowing such tendencies to be expressed and explored.

The image shows this in Gorean form, where a male master gives a female submissive (symbolized by a kajira Kef symbol) his collar to wear (literally or figuratively), to symbolize his domination over her, and her obligation to obey him (within agreed limits). However, the same idea could occur in other gender etc permutations. See also Image:BDSM-collar-female-symbol.png and Image:BDSM-collar-male-symbol.png, and article supplicant...

For the counterposed (not necessarily contradictory) idea that a submissive can give her/his dominant or master/mistress the gift of her/his submission or obedience, see Image:Image:Giving-him-the-gift-of-herself_symbol.png / Image:Giving-himself-to-her_symbol.png
