Gorean-lifestyles-symbol.png(800 × 330 pixels, file size: 9 KB, MIME type: image/png)

A sequence of symbols for one basic type of practice among Gorean "lifestylers" (i.e. those who adapt selective aspects of the laws and customs of the societies described in John Norman's "Gor" series of science-fiction novels into their daily lives on earth). This graphic shows the Gor books (symbolized by an open book with a stylized angular "G" and a kajira Kef on facing pages) inspiring a woman to open her legs literally or figuratively (as shown by a stick-figure drawing), resulting in sex (indicated by Mars and Venus symbols).

Each couple or small group has its own (often intensely personal) take on Gorean lifestyles, and the different definitions might not have too much in common, but the practice symbolized in the image is probably part of most lifestyle versions: The books persuading a woman to more often have sex with her lover or husband when he wishes it (something which naturally follows from the basic decision to pursue such a Gor-influenced way of life).

Note that this symbol is proposed by me, and is not in use among Gorean lifestylers...
