An attempted representation of the the most common Gorean "initial posture" or Gorean "basic position of the slave dance" in the "Labanotation" dance writing system. The columns inside the box indicate "low support" (i.e. standing with knees flexed), while the column immediately to the right of the box shows that the ribcage is lifted. The next outer columns show that the upper arms are raised to the sides, while the connecting arc at the bottom, and the symbols directly above it, show that the backs of the wrists are touching each other. The hands are not clenched into fists (i.e. "palms out"), and though this is not specified in the diagram, or in Norman's descriptions of the position, the fingers of both hands are presumably pointing upwards...
