Labanotation-Gorean-display.png(600 × 600 pixels, file size: 9 KB, MIME type: image/png)

An attempted representation of one version of the Gorean Display position in the "Labanotation" dance writing system. The columns inside the box indicate standing with feet apart (i.e. legs diverging to the sides), while the column immediately to the right of the box shows that the upper half of the torso is pushed slightly upward and bent backwards a little (this right placement is an arbitrary notational convention). The connecting arcs at the bottom, and symbols directly above them, show that the hands are clasped together at the back of the head with fingers interlocked, while the rest of the rightmost column indicates that the head is tilted a little backwards (i.e. looking slightly upwards) in relation to the upper torso.
