Silver leggings

Leggings are a tight garment that covers someone from the waist to the ankles, resembling a pair of opaque footless tights. They emphasise the buttocks and thighs, and on men the male bulge.

Some leggings (cropped leggings) only come to just below the knee, or half-way down the thigh.

They may be made of a range of materials, usually stretchy to permit extra tightness, such as lycra and latex.

Leggings designed to look like very tight jeans are called jeggings, and ones designed to look like very tight trousers are called treggings.

Leggings do not normally have flies or an opening waistband, but some jeggings do.
