Mental bondage, or psychological bondage is a form of the bondage in which the Bottom follows instructions of the Top to not move. This may be combined with some physical restraint but normally there is no actual restriction of movement. Mild forms of mental bondage include the instruction to kneel and stay still, or to stand in the corner of a room. More intense mental bondage can include the use of hypnosis, with which care needs to be taken.
