Open face hoods are a type of hood which covers the head but leaves the face exposed. Open face hoods are particulary popular with females (both dominant and submissive) as the face is framed by the hood in a striking manner and wearing it will not smudge make-up. The visual impact of the hood is not unlike that of a nuns wimple. This type of hood is also popular with people intersted in pony play as it will not effect the wearing of bit gags.
Open face hoods can be made from either latex or leather.
