A suspender thong is a garment, often a swimsuit for women consisting of a thong with straps that go over the shoulders similar to braces (American suspenders) holding up trousers. It thus resembles a mankini, and has been described as a "one-piece bikini".
The idea is that it covers the crotch and the nipples, so that the wearer is not actually indecent, but the buttocks and most of the breasts are clearly visible so that very little is left to the observer's imagination.
The name is also used for a pair of suspender briefs where the briefs part is a thong.
