As an ordinary cultural/historical practice

The article should mention that men have been glancing covertly down the front of women's formal décolleté evening dresses for close to 500 years, ever since women's clothing styles changed to allow for this, sometime in the first half of the 16th century. There are probably few heterosexual men in western societies who haven't "sneaked a peak" at one time or another, so that "downblouse" is far more mainstream than "upskirt" (something which should be made clear in the article...) -- AnonMoos 14:51, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
