Wait ... this is Wipi, right? I thought Wipi was a sexual-education publication. I thought that on this kind of website, you would need a sexual reference, like cybersex. There are no references to cybersex in this article; read it again. It's just an encyclopedia article like you might find on encyc.org. Star651 18:41, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Not sure why this is here, but it's of minimal size and does little harm. More baffling is why we have a long general article on Usenet. The specific Usenet group alt.sex.bondage was extremely influential in serving as a gathering place for people interested in BDSM in the early 1990s (it's likely that the term "BDSM" itself was coined there), but not sure that Usenet in general is really BDSM-relevant.
