Could mention that drinking champagne out of a lady's high-heeled shoe was a well-known gesture of extravagant adoration or outrageous flirting in the late 19th century or early 20th century (not quite mainstream, but done very publicly by a few people). AnonMoos 15:07, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
