- No. A tutu is stiff so it stands out by itself even when the wearer is stationary, whereas a skating skirt is soft and floppy. Also, a tutu is made of layers of gauze and is usually see-through whereas a skating skirt is a single layer and opaque.--Speedoslover 11:24, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
