Not sure what the point of hating so severely on wrist-to-thigh cuffs is. If your only goal is to to find a piece of equipment which when used in isolation by itself creates a situation of inescapable captivity, then obviously wrist-to-thigh cuffs will not do the job. However, that doesn't mean that they might not be useful for other things -- for example, combine wrist-to-thigh cuffs with a leg-spreader bar...
