Urban Tantra is an attempt to combine various Eastern religious and mystical beliefs with BDSM. It is a registered trademark owned by Barbara Carrellas. She claims that "on the Tantric path, pleasure, vision and ecstasy are celebrated. Tantra is not only a sexual practice, it also is a sensuous way of life and path to spiritual growth."
