Vaseline

A commercial name for a petroleum jelly product.

Products other than petroleum jelly are also marketed under trade name Vaseline the but if a reference is made to just Vaseline then it is petroleum jelly that is meant.

Being oil-based it can destroy the effectiveness of latex condoms.
