The wrist is the joint between the hand and lower arm. In a fetish or BDSM context, it is relevant to masturbation, punishment equipment manipulation and bondage.
In most bondage situations, the wrists will be used as anchor points for the ropes or chains so that the movement of the arms and hands is restricted. The wrists are often fastened together, usually behind the back. However, they may be held separately, as in a spreadeagle.
