- Ancilla
- Latin for female servant (most especially, an indentured house-servant).
- Dorei
- Japanese for "slave". May be pronounced "Door-ray" or "Door-ree".
- Kajira
- Generic name for a female slave. Popularised by the Gor stories but the name has a much older origin.

- Name sometimes used from feudal times, especially by masters.
