Army surplus stores are good place to find gas masks, ex-army issue hazmat gear and other uniforms.
Caution must be taken when buying second hand gas masks. Older gas mask filters used asbestos, which is highly carcinogenic. There is also the danger of the equipment having been contaminated during combat or training.
