Hog-Cuff - bondage restraint technique based upon the Hogtie (which traditionally uses rope) but modified to use metallic Handcuffs.

Wrists are restrained behind the back using handcuffs. Ankles are restrained using handcuffs or Leg irons. With the subject lying face downwards, the legs are bent upwards at the knees and the wrist restraints are secured to the ankle restraints.

For people with smaller ankles, including most women, ordinary handcuffs can be used on both ankles as well as wrists. Some models of handcuff are larger in diameter and will be usable on a wider range of subject ankles (Peerless hinged, Hiat de-luxe types are larger than standard diameter). On larger ankles, or for use over boots, leg-irons will be needed.

Wrist restraints may be attached to ankle restraints using a padlock or by using an additional set of cuffs.

Caution: metallic handcuffs may be less comfortable than rope or straps and may dig into flesh to a greater degree during vigorous struggling.
