A panty shot is a photograph, video, drawing or animation in which a (usually fully clothed) woman's or girl's panties are visible.
Panty shots are possible if the female is wearing a skirt or dress (especially a tutu or miniskirt) and if other factors come along:
- if she is posing in a certain way (e.g. bending over, spreading her legs while seated, standing or hanging upside down)
- if the wind blows her skirt up
- if the photographer/videographer uses a worm's eye view, possibly surreptitiously.
Usually it causes embarrassment and humiliation to the female if her panties are seen.
