I'm unclear when this would be used. Can you please quote some examples of where it is used on Wikipedia?--Taxwoman 09:40, 29 October 2006 (GMT)

  • There must be many tens of thousands on wikipdia, I alone created hundreds - basically, it distinguishes 'temporary' redirects (pending the creation of a specifically specialised page) from 'synonymous' redirects which can just as well be replaced with our without piping (except that duplication is avoided). In a few months, you should find ample examples right here, for example specific types of cats, whips etc. for which no special page exists can get a redirect 'with possibilities' untill someone feels he has enough material to create a specific page on, say, the reduced cat. I see. I look forward to seeing it in action.--Taxwoman 12:48, 4 November 2006 (GMT)
I don't get it. There is a use of this on Consensual slave but when I enter "Consensual slave" in the topic box and hit the Go button, I get to the Slave page, as usual. So why is this template used there? --Interesdom 07:17, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
