A chiffon babydoll
Chiffon is a fabric that is made of thread so fine and loosely woven that it is transparent. Originally, it would normally have been made of silk, but nowadays nylon is more usual.
It may be used for making some types of lingerie (such as babydolls) or veils, or for covering eye holes in hoods or masks so that the wearer's eyes cannot be seen.
