Wikipedia is arguably the pioneer of the "Wiki" system that Wipipedia uses.
Wikipedia is an international project in many languages, with main servers in the USA and supporting servers in Europe and Korea. Like Wipipedia, it is a website based on MediaWiki that is written collaboratively by volunteers, allowing articles to be changed by anyone with access to the website.

Perceived intolerance of the BDSM community
- Deletion of the Category "Kinky Wikipedians" on 18th December 2005 — There are many categories like this in Wikipedia:Category:Wikipedians, with ones such as politics, sexuality and political beliefs. BDSM however was the "last straw".
